Bible Mode (formerly known as “Bible Time“) may collect limited information to support core features and subscriptions only through services like Superwall. We may use basic details like device type, iOS version, and app version to better support users.

We use this information to:

• Operate and enhance the features of Bible Mode
• Send essential updates or app-related notifications
• Respond to user inquiries or support issues
• Monitor app performance and resolve technical problems

2. Local Data Storage

Any settings or progress within Bible Mode (e.g., your selected verse or unlock history) are saved locally on your device and are never transmitted off‑device.

3. No Third-Party Tracking

Bible Mode does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share your data with marketers or external services.

4. Data Usage and Protection

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Any data collected is used solely to support the app's core functionality and subscriptions.

Bible Mode uses OpenAI's API to detect Bible verses in images. This process is:

• Processed in real-time via OpenAI's servers
• Not stored by Bible Mode
• Not linked to any user identifiers
• Used solely to verify Bible presence for unlocking features

OpenAI may temporarily retain data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring per their API data usage policy. Bible Mode does not control this retention and does not store or access this data after it is processed.

5. Security

All data saved within Bible Mode stays on your device unless required for payments or essential app functionality. We recommend using device-level security such as a passcode or Face ID to keep your information safe.

6. Children's Privacy

Bible Mode is intended for users aged 4+. However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may occasionally update this policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. The effective date at the top will indicate the latest version. Continued use of Bible Mode constitutes acceptance of any updates.

8. International Users
